Through positive action and example, the Courtyard community works cooperatively to develop value systems which reflect an awareness of relationships with the environment, an appreciation of the creative and aesthetic qualities of the arts and sciences, and the promotion of better understanding among all individuals.

Kindergartners must be five years old by November 2 of their Kindergarten year. We will contact prospective Kindergarten parents who are on our waiting list to schedule tours and assessments. Kindergarten tours and assessments are scheduled from October through early December of the year prior to entrance. The Kindergarten assessment consists of an in-class observation and a separate test. The assessment process will be discussed in detail during the parents' tour. Placement decisions are made after all assessments are completed, and parents can expect to hear from Courtyard in January.
