A non-profit, independent K-8 school
Courtyard School is a private, non-profit, independent school serving a socio-economically and culturally diverse student population. Approximately 140 students attend Courtyard in Kindergarten through 8th Grade.
Courtyard is devoted to developing scholars, artists, & leaders through academics, culture, and community. Since 1982, Courtyard School has provided an environment promoting strong academics, high expectations, and student-initiated exploration. The school is located in midtown Sacramento in close proximity to many rich historical and cultural landmarks.
We follow the traditional school year (September to mid-June) and offer a full-day Summer Camp from mid-June through August. Courtyard also offers an Extended Day program with a full activity curriculum. The Extended Day program is included in the Courtyard School tuition.
