Full Day Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten: Courtyard’s Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs provide a full day of enriching activities that establish a curiosity and a love for learning. Most schools offer half-day programs. The extra hours provide our youngest students more opportunities to gain reading, writing, math skills; learn art; and have fun. Our safe and nurturing school provides children as young as four-years old with an excellent environment to begin their academic journey.

Convenient for Working Families: Courtyard’s Midtown Sacramento location makes the school especially convenient for parents that work in the Downtown-Midtown area and for families that live in the surrounding communities. Our all-day program (6:30 am – 6:00 pm) helps working parents by providing a safe and stimulating environment for their children while they are at work. Our enriching after-school program, breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and December and spring vacation camps are all included with the price of tuition.

Enriching After School Program: Courtyard’s after school program offers a variety of fun activities for our students to support their daily curriculum and, ultimately, capitalize on these key development years for their learning and growth. Our after school activities begin after study hall. Students then choose among a variety of activities including arts and crafts, computer lab, cooking club, games, and more. In addition, we partner with recreational organizations to provide optional activities including dance, martial arts, and individualized instruction in music.

Athletics: In addition to our daily physical education classes, students may continue their learning experience by participating in various sports such as basketball, volleyball and others.
