For 2026-27, TK, kindergarten, and 3rd/4th are full, but 1st, 2nd, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th have openings, and new students are welcome throughout the year. Please request a tour with our Office Manager, and we will be in touch to schedule a date and time that works for you. We would love to discuss the prospect of your child attending Courtyard and will answer all of your questions about our school and the admissions process.

Can my child start mid-year?
Yes. Courtyard welcomes new students throughout the year. For 2026-27 we have openings in 1st grade, 2nd grade, 5th/6th, and 7th/8th. TK, kindergarten, and 3rd/4th are currently full.
What happens after I request a tour?
Ms. Fatima from our office will email you, introduce you to our principal, Ms. Krause, and offer a few dates and times. Most tours happen within two weeks, and we schedule mid-year transfer tours as quickly as we can.
What is the tour like?
About an hour with Ms. Krause (a half hour if your schedule is tight). You’ll walk the campus, see the classroom your child would join, and hear about our programs and how guardians get involved.
What happens after the tour?
Ms. Krause follows up by email and connects you with your child’s classroom teacher, so you can ask questions and set up a shadow day for your child to spend time in the class.

Admissions for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten
Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes usually fill between September-February, one year prior to your child’s anticipated start date.
TK Age Requirement – 4 years old by the start of school or September 1 (students becoming 4 years old mid-year may apply for mid-year admission and consideration for repeating TK the following year).
Kinder Age Requirement – 5 years by the start of the school year or September 1.
We will contact prospective Kindergarten parents who are on our waiting list to schedule tours and assessments. Kindergarten tours and assessments are scheduled from October through early December of the year prior to entrance.
Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten often fill quickly so we encourage you to contact us early about either of these classes.
Admissions for First through Middle School
1st through 8th grade classes begin the first Tuesday of September.
Admission to Courtyard School is based on a variety of criteria including:
- Touring the School
- Child Visit and Interview
- Assessment if needed
- Completed Application (offered at time of interview)

Courtyard Private School’s tuition is all inclusive and covers:
- Classroom Academics
